MAA MAHAALAKSHMI

The MAHAALAKSHMI temple in Bombay is one of the most famous Sakthi temples in India. The wealth of the city of Bombay is because of her bountiful blessings. However it is seen that most of the Devotees mistake her for LAKSHMI the Goddess of Wealth who is the consort of Vishnu. It is sad to note that most of the Hindus are not aware of the existence of MAA MAHAALAKSHMI who is the main Goddess in DEVI MAHAATMYAM . She is ParaSakthi who combines the Sakthi of all the Gods and Goddesses.

MAA MUMBADEVI temple is another Sakthi temple situated in Bombay. The name of the city Bombay (now correctly called Mumbai)
is derived from MAA MUMBADEVI
